Police were looking Thursday for a man who slashed another man in his face at East Harlem’s 125th Street subway station, sending him to the hospital, NYPD officials said.
The slashing happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on the stairs leading from the street to the 4/5/6 train platform, according to officials. Police said the two men were arguing and one pulled out a knife, slashing the 28-year-old victim once in his chin.
First responders took the victim to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, while the suspect, who was wearing a brown sweatsuit, fled in an unknown direction, officials said. Police said the men were acquaintances, but were still investigating what their dispute was about…
