New York firefighter battling Brooklyn blaze died ‘protecting the city he loves’

An FDNY firefighter has sadly lost their life tackling an all-hands blaze in Brooklyn Saturday night, according to officials.

The man has been publicly named as Patrick Brady, 42, who died of a heart attack while responding to a fire that started around 9:38 p.m. at a 6-story apartment building on Kings Highway in Brownsville.
