Send-off services to honor veteran firefighter who died in the line of duty

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — The FDNY will honor one of its bravest during send-off services for firefighter Patrick Brady this weekend.

The wake will be held at the Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Church of St. Francis de Sales in Rockaway Beach, beginning at 11 a.m., with a livestream available.

Brady, 42, died after he collapsed from cardiac arrest while battling a 5-alarm fire on Kings Highway on Saturday. The Queens resident was an 11-year veteran of the service and had worked with Ladder 120 since 2022.
