Harlem woman stabbed to death in hallway ambush by ‘jealous’ ex-boyfriend is ID’d as mother of four

A Harlem woman ruthlessly stabbed dozens of times and left to die in a vicious ambush by her ex-boyfriend was officially identified by police Tuesday as a mother of four.

Carmen Lopez, 47, was knifed about “50 times” – leaving her within inches of her life – around 4 a.m. Monday near the elevator on the third floor of her rental building on West 129th Street near St. Nicholas Terrace, cops and sources said.

Her alleged assailant was her on-again, off-again beau who may have been fueled by jealousy, the sources said. The two were not together at the time of the slaying, the sources said…
