As extreme weather continues to sweep across the USA, bringing chilling temperatures nationwide, schools and businesses have been forced to close.
In New York City, the wind chill is expected to plummet to around zero in metro and coastal areas, and could drop as low as eight below zero inland by Monday morning. A harsh cold snap is expected to affect much of the Northeast this week, with severe wind chills predicted in Virginia and surrounding states, as well as the Midwest. New Yorkers have been issued weather warnings.
