Detectives with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office charged Luis Germain Diaz, also known as Lamont Holmes, 38, following an investigation into multiple thefts at the Lowe’s located at 265 McLean Boulevard in Paterson, Passaic County Sheriff Thomas Adamo announced Wednesday, Dec. 24.
The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division received information on July 9, from the Lowe’s Organized Retail Crime Unit regarding thefts that occurred between Feb. 15, and May 29, Adamo said.
Following a comprehensive investigation that included reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence, detectives determined that Diaz entered the store on multiple occasions and removed high-value merchandise without paying, authorities said…
