The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying men wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery pattern spanning across Bronx and Queens.
Judging from the cases detailed by authorities, those responsible tend to target jewelry and utilize nondescript, two-wheeled vehicles to get around. In at least 14 of the reported 18 crimes, the alleged robbers attempted to steal a chain; in many of those cases they were successful.
The first of the alleged robberies shared by police dates back to around 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 6. It was around that time that a 27-year-old man was approached by three unidentified individuals on two-wheeled vehicles in front of 2516 White Plains Road in the Bronx.
