Suspects sought in 18 robberies in NYC: ‘Shaken up’

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Police say they come up from behind and grab their victims in a matter of seconds before fleeing on two-wheeled vehicles.

But cops are closing in on the suspects who are allegedly wanted for 18 robberies spanning the Bronx and Queens. And in all the incidents, police say the men attacked the victims and snatched jewelry and cash.

The husband of one of the victims told PIX11 News his wife was walking home from work when the men grabbed her necklace. It happened in October, but he says it feels like it was yesterday.

“She’s very frightened and scared to go outside. She is shaken up,” he said.

In some of the incidents, police say the men allegedly pulled out knives and a gun. In the latest theft, the suspects allegedly stole a 34-year-old man’s two gold chains at the corner of Jerome Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bronx on Nov. 21, according to the NYPD…
