Armed trio robs Bronx store, stealing cash and jewelry before fleeing on foot

BRONX, NY – Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a Bronx business at gunpoint late Tuesday night, stealing thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry from employees before fleeing, according to the New York City Police Department.

Investigators said the incident occurred around 11:37 p.m. on January 6 at a commercial establishment located at 892 Home Street. Three unidentified males entered the store and confronted two employees, ages 33 and 39. One suspect displayed a firearm while the other two went behind the counter, removing approximately $3,000 from the register.

The suspects then took additional cash and jewelry from both employees before fleeing eastbound on Home Street. No injuries were reported.

Police described the first suspect as a male last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweatshirt, black ski mask, black pants, and black sneakers. The second suspect was wearing a green jacket, gray sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and black boots.
