ICE: ’10 illegal aliens’ arrested in Jersey City during Sunday’s raid in the Heights

“10 illegal aliens” were arrested in Jersey City on Sunday, some “who committed felonies” by re-entering the country, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told HCV.

“On February 1, ICE conducted a targeted immigration enforcement operation in Jersey City, New Jersey, to arrest ten illegal aliens including multiple illegal aliens who committed felonies by illegally re-entering the U.S.,” U.S. Department of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin, who serves as a spokeswoman for ICE, said in an email.

“All ten illegal aliens will remain in ICE custody pending removal. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, if you break the law, you will face the consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.”

She also asserted that the Jersey City Police Department was notified of “the targeted immigration enforcement operation,” as well as that none of the arrests occurred in Hoboken…
