See dolphins spotted in New York City’s East River

Everyone was out enjoying the spring weather in New Jersey and New York area, even some dolphins.

The first 70-degree day since October brought out dolphins in the river next to Randall’s Island Park. Videos on social media show dolphins leaping in and out of the water to the delight of many people watching and recording.

About a dozen dolphins were spotted at the East River under the RFK Bridge, according to the Gotham Whale, a group that studies whales and marine mammals in the waters of New York and New Jersey…
