A Chick-fil-A team member in North Bergen received the surprise of a lifetime when the company’s CEO walked into her workplace and handed her a $25,000 scholarship.
Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew T. Cathy visited Chick-fil-A North Bergen at 7416 Tonnelle Ave. at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, where he surprised team member Yammani Tay with the award.
Tay believed the visit was for a behind-the-scenes video about how restaurant teams care for customers, but instead Cathy revealed she had been selected for a major scholarship through the company’s Remarkable Futures™ Scholarships program.
