The Roost Outpost, a popular coffee shop located near the Hoboken train station, suddenly closed its doors on March 22. In a post to customers, the cafe thanked the community for 10 years of support.
The Roost Outpost Closed in Hoboken
On March 20, 2026, The Roost Outpost shared an update with its customers. Located at 55 1st St. in Hoboken, the cafe closed after its lease could not be renewed. Sunday was the last service day of the cafe.
The Roost Outpost drew Hoboken residents and daily commuters with its welcoming atmosphere. Many locals and loyal patrons are shocked by the closure.
Over the years, it became a neighborhood hub where locals and visitors enjoyed coffee, pastries, and light bites.
