VOORHEES, NJ (PIX 11) — A New Jersey family is navigating a new normal after a road rage shooting involving an off-duty NYPD officer.
That shooting in 2024 left 32-year-old Kishan Patel with life-altering injuries. His family says their lives have been forever changed after he suffered devastating injuries when he was shot during a road rage incident involving an off-duty NYPD officer, Hieu Tran.

“My life is completely changed,” said Himanshu Patel, Kishan’s dad. “Everybody else’s life is completely changed. It’s very hard right now.”
