Monkey Thief is back. After an abrupt shutdown, the cocktail bar reopened last week on 9th Avenue — with a new setup and a familiar feel.
But don’t get too comfortable – because the new Monkey Thief at Rita’s, previously home to ’ritas at the corner of W51st Street and 9th Avenue, is a short pop-up while the team finishes building out the permanent new home next door.
