N.J. hospital blames prior owners after air-conditioning fails amid heat wave

Hoboken University Hospital installed stopgap cooling measures Tuesday night after its primary air-conditioning system malfunctioned amid blistering temperatures.

The hospital’s primary cooling system began malfunctioning late Monday, said Vijay Chaudhuri, spokesman for Hudson Regional Health in a statement.
