RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman wanted in the stabbing that happened earlier this month near Zebulon was arrested over the weekend in New York City, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 9, deputies responded to a reported stabbing in the 8400 block of Traceway Drive around 12:30 a.m. Once on scene, they found a man with “apparent assault wounds.” He was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

At the time of the incident, the sheriff’s office said the incident was believed to be a “domestic-related incident.” Further investigation revealed Tatyanna McDowell as a suspect, and after consultation with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, the agency obtained a warrant for her arrest on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
