The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) has selected STV to deliver construction inspection services for the westbound Newark Bay Bridge trestle, a critical early phase of the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension (NBHCE) Improvements Program.
Work supports the long-term replacement of one of the region’s busiest crossings and includes construction of new foundations in Newark Bay, installation of structural steel and temporary work bridges above the bay, as well as roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements.
