A group of church leaders from the Newark Interfaith Alliance prayed for Delaney Hall detainees, and protesters, during a vigil Sunday evening.
At around 7:30 p.m., pastors and other faith leaders from churches around Newark walked down Doremus Avenue, praying and calling out for the immigration facility to be closed, and for peaceful protests.
