An off-duty NYPD officer was driving drunk and crashed his car with three young children inside, state police said.
Anthony N. Guglielmo, 38, of Staten Island, crashed on Route 23 in Greenport in Columbia County, with 7-, 6-, and 5-year-old children in the car on Wednesday, Aug. 5, New York State Police said.
Troopers responded around 10:30 p.m. to reports of a property damage crash and a Volkswagen that left the scene, authorities said. Investigators located the car at 120 County Route 31 in Greenport, the address for A. Colarusso & Son Inc., a crushed stone supplier, according to state police…
