French national charged for leaving 2 kids in a locked car outside Secaucus Walmart

A French national was charged for leaving two kids in a locked car outside the Secaucus Walmart on Friday afternoon, according to Police Chief Dennis Miller.

On Friday, August 7th, at 12:37 p.m., Secaucus police officers responded to the local Walmart, located at 400 Park Place, parking lot on a report of two small children being locked inside of a hot vehicle without any open windows, Miller explained.

Witnesses called the police reporting that two children, later identified as a nine- and six-year-old boys, were left unattended in a vehicle that was parked within the lot during extreme heat and the children appeared to be in distress.
