Pop Singer Madonna Sued by Concert Goers

The queen of pop? More like the queen of tardiness.

Despite her recent retrospective tour being an overall success, she’s had a few more bumps in the road in comparison to those like Taylor Swift and Beyonce. It’s been revealed that two fans have recently decided to sue Madonna after starting one of her shows late.

The incident actually occurred about a month ago. On December 13th, Madonna was set to take the stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York at 8:30 PM. Instead, she appeared on stage starting at 10:45 PM. This was over two hours after her originally stated start time. By the time the concert was over, it was almost 1:00 in the morning.

This naturally resulted in a lot of distress. Along with the aggravation of waiting for so long, some were left with limited transporation options whether they were riding the subway or trying to get a rideshare. That being said, such transporation sees increased costs when it’s really late at night. As for the cherry on top, the concert took place on a weekday night which meant that many had to go to work early in the morning the next day.
