UPDATE: The victim has been ID’ed as 22-year-old Wiston Perlaza.
One person was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Nutley on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 14, police said.
The hit-and-run motor vehicle crash occurred at 7 p.m. at Milton Avenue at the Garden State Parkway overpass, Nutley police said.
Nutley police and the Essex County Prosecutors Office are working to identify the perpetrator, officers said. The victim has not been identified.
