A 2013 Infiniti Sedan was heading north when it struck a tractor-trailer turning left onto S. Stiles Street from the southbound lanes around 3 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, police said.
One of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a second passenger were both taken to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries, where the second passenger died.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash and is cooperating with Police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau, and anyone with information is urged to contact Inv. Michael Rozycki at (908) 474-8505.
