UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – Two teenagers were shot inside an Upper West Side bodega on Sunday, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened on Amsterdam Avenue between 91st and 92nd streets around 7:45 p.m., according to authorities. A 17-year-old boy was shot in the foot, while another 17-year-old boy had gunshot wounds to his stomach, police said.
Sources said the suspect was wearing a black jacket and black sweats. They fled the bodega toward Columbus Avenue, according to sources.
It’s unclear what the motive is in the shooting. Both victims were taken to NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital, police said.
