Knewz.com is reporting that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem joined an ICE raid in New York City. The operation targeted violent offenders hiding in sanctuary cities. The raid led to the arrest of Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, a 25-year-old Venezuelan migrant linked to the Tren de Aragua gang and wanted for violent crimes in Colorado. Noem criticized sanctuary city policies, urging local governments to cooperate with federal authorities to better prosecute and deport criminal offenders.
Noem wrote, “Just now. Enforcement operation in NYC. Criminal alien with kidnapping, assault & burglary charges is now in custody – thanks to @ICE,” adding, “Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets.”
ICE reported nearly 1,200 arrests in one day and issued over 850 detainers. DHS also removed 7,300 illegal immigrants in the first week of the Trump administration. Noem said, “We are picking up the worst of the worst in this country that are making our streets so dangerous.”…
