Pharma company to lay off 427 at its N.J. headquarters

Novartis Pharmaceuticals is removing hundreds of New Jersey employees from its company.

The global drugmaker will lay off 427 employees from its U.S. headquarters in East Hanover, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filing with the state.
