Sixth Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Newark woman for an Assault that occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1:10 pm in Manhasset.
According to detectives, the female victim, 76, was seated on a bus stop bench at Northern Blvd. and Maple Street. While waiting for the bus, she was struck numerous times with a closed fist by an unknown female. Two good Samaritans came to the victim’s aid and stopped the attack. Upon arrival, officers arrested Dalisa Wormack, 40, of 405 S. 15 th Street, Newark, New Jersey.
The victim suffered injuries to her right leg, hip, elbow and ribs. She sustained lacerations to both of her hands. The victim was transported to an area hospital where it was determined her ribs were fractured…
