Montgomery’s “Sushi John” Arrested by ICE

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency announced today the arrest of Ming Xi Zhang, a Chinese national and Montgomery Township resident known by locals as “Sushi John.” ICE Newark arrested Zhang on March 24 in Newark, NJ. He remains in ICE custody.

Zhang owns and operates YaYa Noodles in the Montgomery Shopping Center.

ICE apprehended Ming Xi Zhang, a Chinese national who was sentenced last year for acting as an agent of a foreign government without prior notification to the U.S. Attorney General. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Newark arrested and detained him on March 24 in Newark, NJ. He remains in ICE custody.
