New Jersey – In New Jersey, a disturbing case of child abuse has come to light, resulting in the arrest of a 30-year-old mom. Authorities allege that the woman forced her child to wear an eIectric sh0ck coIIar designed for animaIs, inflicting physical harm and emotional distress. Earlier this month, the County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, in collaboration with the police department, initiated an investigation after the child arrived at school with visible marks on their neck.
The injuries were determined to be caused by an eIectric shock coIIar, capable of delivering sh0cks up to 100 volts. Subsequently, the parent, Kimberley, was arrested and charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, two counts of Aggravated Assault, one count of Witness Tampering with Threat of Force, and one count of Hindering. She is currently being held at the correctional center pending court proceedings.
The investigation revealed that the woman allegedly compelled her child to wear the shock coIIar at all times while at home. The device was reportedly used as a form of punishment whenever the child’s behavior displeased her. Court documents indicate that the coIIar belonged to the family’s deceased pet and was regularly charged and kept in a bedroom alongside other pet items.
