N.J. Democratic gubernatorial candidates will debate at 7 PM tonight

The Democratic candidates for Governor of New Jersey will meet at 7 PM tonight for their third and final debate before the June 10 primary to succeed term-limited Gov. Phil Murphy in a forum sponsored by the New Jersey Globe, On New Jersey and Rider University.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop, Rep. Josh Gottheimer, Rep. Mikie Sherrill and former Senate President Steve Sweeney will face off in a substantive 2 ½ hour discussion built around three specific issue topics: Affordability and Taxes; Education; and Public Transportation and Development.
