Teacher/stand up comedian honors educators with breakfast at local schools

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Comedian Gaspare Randazzo hosted a breakfast for the faculty and staff of four Staten Island schools, as a tribute to the educators’ dedication and hard work.

Randazzo is a teacher himself.

The schools — Totten Intermediate School, PS 19, PS 861 and PS 373 at PS 861 — were selected as winners of an online competition that was open to all Staten Island schools, designed to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week and recognize the vital role educators play in the community.
