N.J. man arrested at Canadian border was involved in gun game that turned deadly, cops say

An Essex County man who was wanted for manslaughter and arrested at the Canadian border Monday had been playing games with a friend and pointing guns at each other when the gun went off, killing the friend, witnesses told police.

Malakai McRay, 22, of Newark was arrested by Customs and Border Protection agents at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing in New York on Monday after he tried to re-enter the U.S. from Canada, authorities said.
