13 families left homeless after fire tears through N.J. apartment building

Thirteen families were relocated after a Sunday morning fire in a three-story residential building in Newark, officials said.

Firefighters responded to the building on Taylor Street shortly after 9:45 a.m. for the blaze and brought it under control by 10:30 a.m., according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.

No injuries were reported…
