DELMAR – Ashante Boyd was 27 when she was released to appear in court by Bethlehem police for an alleged larceny at Walmart on Route 9W while all of us were still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now 32, Boyd turned herself in to police on Monday, June 23, for an active bench warrant issued by Bethlehem Town Court. This would be her first time in court.
Boyd, from Jersey City, NJ, and another woman were detained at the store on July 28, 2020, according to reports. They were subsequently arrested and charged with petit larceny.
