Colonia woman killed by ex-husband: This week in Central Jersey history, July 21-27

Giorgina Nigro, 32, of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from blunt-force and sharp-force trauma, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey.

On Thursday, Jully 23, 2015, Vito Nigro, 42, was charged with his ex-wife’s murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
