NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who smashed into an NYPD officer riding a motorcycle on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on Wednesday morning, killing him, sources told 1010 WINS.
The 30-year-old was riding the motorcycle west near Exit 27 at Atlantic Avenue at about 8:27 a.m. when he was struck by a box truck, police confirmed.
The truck driver sped off, and the cop was rushed by medics to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where he died of his injuries…
