3 Newark shelter dogs will be euthanized Tuesday if no forever home is found

Time is running out for three dogs at an animal shelter in Newark.

The Associated Humane Societies says they may be forced to euthanize the animals If they don’t find a home by Tuesday. The shelter on Evergreen Avenue has too many animals and not enough space.

News 12 reported this week that eight dogs were at risk of being euthanized. Five of those dogs have found homes. Trooper, Peppa and Henry are still looking for one – and fostering is not an option. It has to be an immediate rescue or a family that wants to adopt…
