Two arrested on drug charges after Route 22 traffic stop in Hunterdon County

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A Hillside man and a Clinton Township woman were arrested earlier this month on narcotics charges following a traffic stop on Route 22 in Clinton Township, according to police.

Police said that on Sept. 7, an officer on routine patrol observed the driver of a white Chevrolet van commit several motor vehicle violations near Potterstown Road. The driver was identified as Tyrone C. Riley, 37, of Hillside, and the passenger as Kimberly S. Sanders, 42, of Clinton Township.

Both occupants allegedly displayed suspicious behavior, and police said they granted consent for officers to search the vehicle. The search revealed narcotics and drug paraphernalia containing narcotics residue…
