2,000 NJ security officers prepare for strike vote after contract expires

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Security officers working at some of Newark’s largest buildings, including Prudential Tower, University Hospital, and Audible’s headquarters, are voting on whether to strike after their union contract expired in September.

The labor union Local 32BJ the Service Employees International Union made the announcement on Wednesday.
