FRANKLIN BOROUGH, N.J. (Sussex County) — A Newark man has been charged in connection with a burglary and attempted burglary at two Franklin Borough businesses that occurred in the early morning hours of September 25, 2025, according to police.
Police said Angel Soler, 37, of Newark, used a tool to break the glass door of The Right Bottle in Sterling Plaza, where he allegedly entered and took cash from two registers and additional money from behind the service counter. He also reportedly attempted to break into the Corner Deli on Main Street.
An investigation, with assistance from the Wharton Police Department and Roxbury Police Department, identified Soler as the suspect. Police noted that Soler had previously been charged in connection with a 2024 burglary at The Right Bottle…
