The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) Board of Commissioners hired city Business Administrator John Metro for five years at a $250,000 a year salary at today’s meeting.
“I’m excited for this opportunity after a successful 12-year tenure with the City of Jersey City, where I worked closely with each of our autonomous agencies and developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the critical work they do every day,” Metro told HCV this evening.
“I look forward to expanding upon the important work of the authority in delivering reliable services and supporting the city’s continued growth.”
