The New York City Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a Bronx deli on Thursday, October 16, 2025, which left a 78-year-old employee injured.
According to police, at approximately 11:20 a.m., three unidentified males entered a deli located at 2026 Lafontaine Avenue and removed property from the premises. When the elderly employee attempted to intervene, one of the suspects pushed him from behind, causing him to fall to the ground.
The three suspects fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Lafontaine Avenue. Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition…
