Andy Kessler, a 49-year-old skateboarder who spent decades performing daring stunts, met an unexpected and tragic end after being stung by a wasp.
Kessler, a key figure in New York City’s street skate scene, pushed the sport to new heights by incorporating ramps for more acrobatic tricks. He rose to fame in the 1970s as part of the legendary Souls Artists of Zoo York graffiti and skateboarding collective.
