Speeding North Bergen Driver Had Cocaine, Crack, Pellet Gun In Edgewater Traffic Stop: Cops

The stop happened around 12:55 a.m., when Edgewater Patrolman Michael Ebenhack saw a 2023 Kia Forte traveling 25 miles over the speed limit on River Road, according to a press release from Chief Donald Martin.

After pulling the car over, the officer asked the driver for documentation and immediately observed in plain view a small zip lock baggie containing an unknown white powdery substance,” the chief said. Police said Ebenhack believed the substance to be cocaine.
