Mamdani asks 179 City Hall workers to resign when he takes office: report

NEW YORK (PIX11) – New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has asked some City Hall employees to resign from their positions when he takes office on Jan. 1, his spokesperson confirmed to PIX11 News on Wednesday.

The New York Times reported that the resignations, which will affect 179 workers, will change staffing in political offices, including those overseen by deputy mayors.
