The Harrison Police Department is continuing to withhold the names of six individuals arrested in connection with a violent stabbing that occurred in Harrison on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, as well as the name of the victim who suffered life-threatening injuries in the attack.
In response to an inquiry from Your Harrison, Harrison Police Director Nick Breiner stated via email that the department cannot release identifying information at this time, citing an active investigation in coordination with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. While that rationale is recognized as legitimate—particularly where disclosure could jeopardize witness statements or prosecutorial strategy—the ongoing radio silence raises renewed concerns in Harrison about transparency in matters of significant public interest and safety.
