Several developments are in the works in Bayonne, with three redevelopment plans set to be presented at the January 13th planning board meeting where the governing body could vote to increase density, as well as two redevelopment studies.
One redevelopment plan on the agenda is for Russell’s Auto Body at 485-493 Avenue C and 64-66 West 22nd Street, located in the more midtown portion of the city.
The Bayonne City Council adopted a resolution in October designating the property as being in need of redevelopment and asking the planning board to draw up a plan which will now permit for multifamily buildings without three-bedrooms and retail uses.
