A popular Southern fast-food chain is coming to New Jersey.
Krystal, a regional chain known for hamburger sliders, patty melts, crispy fries, chili-topped hot dogs, glazed donut holes, and waffle chicken sandwiches, will open on Route 22 in Union, NJ.
The restaurant—often seen as a direct competitor to White Castle—was originally slated to open in Paterson in 2021, when former Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz signed on as a partner and franchisee. That location never materialized…
