Man sentenced after shooting 4, killing 1 in Newark

NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) — A man will sit behind bars for life after being sentenced for firing into a crowd and shooting four people in Newark in 2023, Prosecutor Theodore Stephens announced on Friday.

Antuane Gregory, 46, was found guilty of murder and assault after opening fire on a group of five people on Leslie Street on April 15, 2023. The shooting stemmed from an argument during which Gregory pulled a handgun.
